Ditch the chemicals

Did you know that your hair products could be doing more damage than good? Using products which contain sulphates or alcohol can be very drying. They could even be responsible for firing up the frizz (FFS). Despite its larger than life presence, curly hair tends to be drier and more fragile than straight and with many supermarket hair care products often containing the same chemicals used in floor cleaner, it’s no wonder your hair doesn’t respond well!

Feed your curls

Everyone knows you don’t mess with a curl when she’s hungry!

The regular consumption of healthy fats like omega-3 help can nourish and strengthen your hair while acting as a preventative for a dry scalp. To give your hair a health-kick, try to consume foods that contain healthy fats such as; avocado, ground flax seeds, flax seed oil, coconut oil, sardines, salmon, egg yolks and spinach. Going ‘au-naturel’ will work wonders inside and out.











Don’t mess with the curls

Over-fiddling with your curls is like playing with fire. Try to avoid touching your hair unless necessary as touching can often lead to misbhaving frizz. There's no question that our hair tends to go through a ringer on most given days.
