2018 GOLDEN GLOBES - LOOKS WE LOVED

With stars standing in support of the #metoo movement - the colour black took over the first red carpet event this awards season, bringing with it style and sass in solidarity.
If you thought an almost black-dress code was going to make our favourite stylish stars drop their A-game you’re mistaken. Killer hairstyles, flawless make-up looks and more glamorous gowns than you could shake an LBD at, Golden Globes you did not disappoint.

Here’s some of our favourite looks of the night.

Dakota Johnson

While Dakota’s effortless look didn’t compare to her infamous side eye to Angelina Jolie when Jen took the stage, we still have to say we love it! She kept everything simple and she owned it!

Turn your gym ponytail into a stunning evening look with these simple tips:

Add a bit of volume at the crown with our gunpowder dust for instant fullness and texture before backcombing the roots for that little extra lift just like our 50 Shades favourite. And those bangs. Fringe anyone?

Mandy Moore

So not only did Mandy Moore match her make up to the sash of her dress and earrings, her sleek look had us immediately reaching for our mirror trying to recreate the look at home.

If like us, you sadly don’t have a personal stylist on hand to help out with a fiery orange lip and slick bun then our flex styling paste is the next best thing. A little bit of this will control frizz and tackle any flyaway locks with medium hold and maximum shine, hello sleek sophistication, 2019 Globes we’re ready for you.

Kendall Jenner

If it ain’t broke… There’s a reason this was THE hair style of 2017.Letting her strapless tulle-dress do the talking, Kendall kept her beauty look simple with a nude lip and for her hair, a textured lob with a bit of volume on the roots! Perfection!!

Now this is one you may’ve tried to master all year but may’ve been missing one important piece to the puzzle… bhave’s volumising foam! Hot tip, always add this to towel dried hair before blowdrying for extra volume and shine and finish with gunpowder dust through the roots and ends to create texture.

Saoirse Ronan

Nailing two major hair trends with this platinum blonde sleek up-do, we love the edgy yet soft feel to this look and who needs heavy makeup when your hair looks this good? Saoirse let her hair do the talking and kept it simple with natural makeup and a defined brow!

To keep your blonde looking this good, use our bombshell blonde shampoo before styling to ignite your blonde locks and bring them back to life so they are red carpet ready.

Angelina Jolie

Is there ever a time where Angelina doesn’t look incredible?Nailing this 60’s inspired style as effortlessly and elegantly as we’d expect nothing less from this seasoned red carpet favourite. We are seriously crushing over here at bhave HQ and we’re not sure whether it’s Miss Jolie herself, the hair, or both. Probably and most definitely both!

To help create your own Angelina inspired up do, why not try our fresh ends. This helps smooth, repair and control any damaged hair leaving it soft and silky, ready for styling.

Margot Robbie

Ok, Ok we may have more than one favourite but what’s not to love about Margot Robbie and this beautiful timeless look!

She’s taken her usual middle part and styled it off to the side in loose smooth waves. And just look at that shine. We’re in lurrvee!

Channel your inner red carpet Goddess like Margot and create a perfect sophisticated look the next time you step out by using our fabulous super nova, a multi-purpose all-in-one elixir. It will nourish your hair whilst gently detangling so you’re ready to style.

For that classic wave pattern, curl small sections of hair away from the face in the same direction, then spray and set. Add the final touch with a bright berry lip and ta da, old Hollywood perfection.

Well that’s a wrap from the Golden Globes 2018, we look froward to seeing what hairstyles and looks dominate the rest of this year’s award shows. Stay tuned for our faves.
